A film exploring the many relationship between various forms of hip hop dance
and jazz music.
This film continues the ideas from 'Comedy, Music and Dance' which is also viewable on this site.

sons.
For creative reasons, I removed most of the other side of the
conversation leaving mainly my mothers words.
Dub FX, the brilliant performer using beatbox and loops on the street in Bristol, UK.
This film was made to go in with an exhibition of paintings by David Cox. David makes paintings based on jamaican dub records and wanted a 'version' of his work remixed into a film.
We decided to make all the effects optically and organically and so David
made mobiles and objects that we could animate, sometimes using a record player
to drive the actions.
